Our Winter Solstice Ride will be on Sun Jan 4th starting outside The Sultan pub in Norman Road Colliers Wood at 10am.
A gentle roll to Oaks Park in Carshalton where we’ll pause for coffee and then head back, pretty much along the same route. Most of the distance will be on Wandle Trail and traffic-free where possible, although there will be some sections of road. In other words, you need to be ready for anything! The Wandle can be lovely in winter, with the bare trees afforing the best views and light mist sitting on the water. Bring your camera.
It’s about 8 miles each way and we’ll be going at a gentle pace, so suitable for everyone except unsupervised under 16s.
